Mnajdra and Hagar Qim
UNESCO sites of Mnajdra and Hagar Qim in Malta were in danger because of global warming and climatic elements. Built about 5000 years ago, these two prehistoric temples will be covered for the next 30 years. A special Teflon structure was designed and created on purpose by German and Italian companies. Despite the visual impact is significant, the Islanders have welcomed the initiative. Malta has one of the best megalithic sites in the world and technology has fielded its fruits to protect them.
