MARCO

Tales from Ancient Worlds and Contemporary Time

Marco works as a photographer, researcher and writer. The union of these three elements with the passion for history and humanity has led him, over the last years to develop peculiar projects in Photography. The collaboration with Foundations, Cultural Institutes, Museums and various media such as National Geographic, Geo, Archaeology Magazine, RBA, Historia NG, Focus, Internazionale, Gruppo Espresso, Touring Club Italiano, La Repubblica or El Periodico, have made it possible to reveal places of memory and narrate the territory with intimacy and transparency. Most of these evidence of memory and territory are the basis of the published or commissioned projects. Marco works in a perhaps less known sector of photography, in which the ancient worlds constantly overlook the contemporary ones.

«I have no credible notion about beauty. The last of my problems is knowing why something is beautiful. The purpose of my work is intensity. It is from this intensity that the emotion flows. I don’t know any other sincere ways»

    Mimmo Jodice
